It's in the historic quarter in front of a church. It use to have interesting temporary exhibitions in addition to the permanent ones.

loved the basement full of amazing archeological finds, the upper floors were a bit confusing and some of the specimens looked like they were picked from a modern garbage can! But overall, the museum is great, if a bit long, and the visitors can interact quite a lot with the objects. the building is also amazing as well as the view. This museum is worth at least an hour. I was here for over two. It is extensive over 5 floors, telling the story of Gisors
The museum is beautifully laid out and there are many interesting exhibits. The herbal medicine display was particularly well done.
