We've been going to this hotel every winter and it has suddenly gone from exceptional to standard. A change in management who think they can do as well while saving money on small details. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, but it used to be great and it's really disappointing.

High Swiss standard of service, quality and hospitality. Beautiful hotel, spotless and clean, amazing view over the alps. Carolin, the director, took very good care of me and my son. And special thanks to Gabriel, who did his best to give us a pleasant welcome and unique experience at the Swiss alps. And not to mention the spa after skiing, and that very stylish pool outside, made of stainless still. I miss it so much! Thank you Carolin, Gabriel and all the lovely people who made our stay very special and memorable. xxx Irina and Julian

Superb boutique hotel at the top of Val d'Anniviers. It seems they changed the chef recently. The food is still good and they still use local organic products, but in my opinion it was more fine, subtle and tasty before.

Lovely location, the spa facilities are excellent. I would suggest that the booking of the spa facilities and use thereof is not clearly defined under COVID considerations, but is comfortable and the staff are happy to explain or help when needed. The restaurant serves an great selection of breads and juices for breakfast.

Chandolin was an unexpected gem. We had a very lovely time at the hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful and centrally located. The facilities were clean and tastefully decorated. Check in and check out were very efficient. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The rooms are beautiful, and the view even more-so. Paying the extra for a room with a valley view is definitely worth it. Be sure to checkout the lounge in the basement for a quiet place to relax.

Very hostile hotel director, not showing a sign of respect to its guests nor Marriott members. Called Marriott, got my refund, left the morning after (planned stay was for 5 days). Rooms and the shower are intolerably small. Room ceiling is around 2.25 meters (below the national minimum standard). Rooms not soundproof, very noisy during the night (people walking, cars parking in front). Restaurant food for evening dinners is super tasty, however prices are unseen, portions are extremely small. Michelin star restaurant attempt, however the choice is rather limited. Limited choices in the surrounding area. Hotel price and rating does not make sense. Design of the hotel though is very pleasant. View from the restaurant and the rooms facing the valley is quite nice though.
