Cool atmosphere and really nice, friendly service - the food was delicious, especially the spicy salmon tartare and the house cocktail. Thanks to the Carve team for a lovely evening!

Tuesday night 7 PM Zero Guests We have 100 night ambassador status with Marriott and in a suite yet there is a fuss over not having a reservation. Shameful. The meal 1) Edamame - Not properly prepared. Hard as a rock. 2) Wakame - This isn’t wakame, it’s store bought seaweed salad trash. Wakame and seaweed salad are not one in the same. 3) Octopus - Bland rubber. A one hour soups vide apparently. Not crisped either. Every decent chef on the planet knows octopus is at least a three hour soups vide then a texture component to the meat has to be added. Came out as boiled trash. 4) strawberry salmon/hotate carpaccio - not bad honestly, pretty solid dishes. 5) rolls - trash quality fish, apparently the chefs don’t know how to season sushi rice nor properly draw moisture into the rice. Altitude changes everything, learn how to make rice for crying out loud. At the end of the day is a trendy spot with terrible food on average. We will not be going back. It needs chefs in there not line cooks putting together garbage.
