This was the second time I had lunch here in Sawasdee. The reason to choose this restaurant was its close proximity to my friends' residence and experience we had in the first time. Cozy environment with an indoor dining area and an outdoor terrace. Both were comfortable. Staff were very attentive and friendly. According to the restaurant owner, the chef was a Thai. He made a very tasty meal for us in our first visit that we enjoyed very much. This time was a little disappointed. The food was not as good. It's not authentic Thai flavour nor it's aromatic. The duck dishes were tasteless. The meat was hard and dry. With the price paid, it's just OK.

Good Thai food
Ordered food for a takeaway — had larb gai, pad kaprao nuea and a tom yam soup. The larb was very dry and lacked the punchy flavour that it usually has and the beef was very tough. I had specifically asked for the food to be very spicy and it barely registered for me. Overall not a very authentic restaurant despite its decent exterior
Food and service is very good. Love the beef in basilic leaves.
Love this place.. vegetarian options are few but really good... highly recommend
Green curry was solid. Other dishes were so-so. Nice outdoor area if you fancy some fresh air.
I have been to Sawasdee a couple of time. Always friendly staff and good food. Although, if you're really hungry, you may order more food as the portion are quite small
