We have visited this part of Switzerland many times. This hotel is well situated. The beautiful island of Brissago is closed. The check in to the hotel was very friendly. There is parking space for the car outside but you can also go for a garage. The room was very clean. There is a small mini bar with complementary drinks. there is also coffee and tea and high quality coffee maker. The terrace is nice. The included breakfast and very much recommended. Evening dinner served by the Hotel kitchen is top notch. I recommend to eat here minimum once. The hotel is very dog friendly. The spas and pool area are nice to relax. There is a warm Finnish sauna. We are much looking to return here again and I can recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for four nights and had a lovely time. The hotel is very well maintained and the staff were on the whole very friendly and attentive. The rooms were large, comfortable and exceptionally clean. The restaurant served a good breakfast and the dinner had a nice selection of Italian dishes and a few Swiss German dishes for good measure. I thought it was an interesting menu with some thought given to the combinations of taste, I particularly enjoyed the bean quiche with the courgette fritatta, it was different but delicious. Rooms are a little dated but kept to a high standard with mod cons brought in where possible (coffee machine, flat screen). You dont really miss for much. The safe is a little pointless as it is too small to accomodate modern electronics, clearly designed for a traveller who was looking to store documents and jewellery and there is the usual lack of accessible power points that is the curse of most older hotels. However you can work round these minor inconveniences so it doesn't cause much bother. Location is great for Brissago and for getting into Ascona and Locarno with the bus. There are also taxis if you miss the bus and the boat comes around every couple of hours so you can get to the Isole or stay on till Ascona and Locarno. It is easy to stroll into the town and the hikes up from Brissago into the hills behind are stunning if not a little strenuous... Going up is much harder than coming back but its worth the walk, saw some amazing scenery and also lots of wildlife within one hours hike of Brissago. We will certainly come again and would like to thank Oliver and the team for their hospitality, it was a lovely holiday!
I love this Hotel and would very highly recommend it! I was quite comfortable there. Thank you to an amazing staff and Management!! I stayed there from October 19th through the 26th. Delicious Cuisine, clean and comfortable accommodations. Attentive and friendly helpful Staff. Hope to return one day to stay there again! Thank you!!

Amazing views across Lago Maggiore. Rooms larger than the average but not huge like appartment. Staff very friendly and helpful. Swimming pools were nice and many different areas to explore. Old fashioned hospital, we loved It!
