Good place for an easy hike in Bern. The are is amazing, with nice views to the city and to the nature. I started walking from Bollingen station following the hiking path and reach Bantiger in about 1hr. On the way down I walked to Stetten train station. In total it was around 10km and 400m altitude gained. The views from the top are really nice. In autumn you cans find very nice colors . Easy to reach from Bern with public transport.

Nice and calm place to visit. Tower is not accessible by public transport or by car. Parking place available in Cholgruebe and walk to the tower around 20 mins uphill. Road is well maintained surrounded by tall trees. On clear day or summer evening it’s a pleasant walk and amazing panorama view. At the mountain you can find automated vending machine for snacks and cleanly maintained toilets are there. No restaurants but Grill places are available. TV station is not accessible for public but visitors can climb steps and see the panorama view of beautiful Bernese Alps, Bern City and surrounding municipalities.
High tower to climb up, very nice view over Bern and looking to the alps, no restaurant but public toilets, a lot of hiking possibilities arround the tower.
