Upon sitting, we were offered a complimentary appetizer consisting of bread and something else (wasn't great enough to remember). The portion of cheese nachos was fairly small and tasted good but nothing exceptional. The paella tasted great, was hearty and large enough for 2-3 people. The red sangria was below average and I would not recommend it. The service was exceptional but one thing left me dissapointed. We were asked if we would like some water and said yes. The waiter brought us a small bottle of still water while everyone else around us was enjoying big pitchers of tap water. Why am I being offered a small bottle of still water for 6 CHF in one of the countries with the best tap water in the world?! We felt as if we were taken advantage of for speaking English. No, It is not about the money, but the principle of it! Overall, I would not recommend this place unless you really want paella and you can't have it anywhere else.The food is very overpriced for the quality you receive and although I am not familiar with the food scene in Lucerne, I highly doubt that you can't find better tasting food (at a a more convenient price) somewhere else. Skip this one if you can.

Magnificent food and atmosphere. This is by far one the best restaurants in Lucerne. Be careful when ordering, the portions are large and you won't be able to stop eating. Delicious. The servers are extremely nice.
Good start in Lucerne for sure. Bolero is all about Spanish cuisine. Restaurant is located away from the (not so) crowded areas. At least I was having the impression that these streets are less crowded than the main touristic areas. The dish was perfect and the amount was what I've wanted it to be - and I eat a lot. Let's not forget about the good service!
First of all, excellent service. The food is good (not great), considering this is not a cheap place even by Swiss standards. I found my lamb less tender than I would like. The chair/table heights could be more ergonomic, my back was sore by the end. Why is the menu digital but you still must order separately?
Hi Everyone I had a great evening Today in Cascada Bolero. My elder sister works there as a cook. So she gave me a gift cause i have completed my Diploma successfully with good marks. It was , i was so happy there. The Team is so friendly just like a Family. I have enjoyed every single moment. The Food (Gambas, Nachos, Mixed etc. ) was too delicious I loved it. The gyros with the Cappuccino was lovely. I am feeling great. I recommend it to all of to go once there there with Your Friend or Family and just relax and enjoy the environment. Thank you so much

Great variety of food.. Loved the ambience too.. Staffs were very good.. One thing that I liked is that they will show the live plating of food that you ordered.. Unique! Cons - We found a glass piece in one of our dishes and as we informed them they were really apologetic and informed the chef also about that.
Pretty environment, i-pad menu is really clear, reasonable price with good flavor good service. Cozy atmosphere. Recommended at Luzern.
