If you are a chocoholic, then this is the right place to go to. As far as I know there are two Läderach shops in Bern. This one and another one inside of the main train station. The things they sell are just amazing. Everybody will leave the shop with a smile on the face. Having said that, this brand is very expensive. But once you try these chocolates it will become quite clear why.

There is a wide selection of Swiss chocolates. You can get elehant packages to bring for friends and family as souvenirs that are reasonably priced. They offer truffles and traditional chocolate slabs as well.
The quality of the products is amazing. The wrapping is also made with care. The workers there are all nice and ready to give advise. I much appreciated the free taste of some macarons. Only bad thing :the prices are indicated for 100g, also for boxes. This is misleading and a (bad) surprise can occur when paying if one didn't pay attention.
We had the candied oranges, but the chocolate was really scant and the flavor wasn't really savory. Also the price were simply too much. From the Legendary Läderach everyone talks about, I expected a lot more.

Great selection. Many locations. Definitely consider when looking for chocolate.
Good chocolates for a good price. 10 Euros for 100g worth of chocolates, that's about 8 pieces.
