The bridge is making a great part with the whole environment of the city. I think this one is THE BRIDGE - I mean it's the most characteristic architecture after the Berner Munster and the fountains. It's not that long to walk through and you might get some good pictures of the city from it too.
The bridge is very beautiful and is clearly visible from the Münsterplattform. And from the bridge itself there is an excellent view of the Parliament building and the cathedral.

Very nice place, both sides of the bridge
This is a beautiful bridge. One can see the hotel bellevue on on side which is just beside the beautiful river Aare. The colour of the water is blue. On the opposite side there is a small dam for the water to pass through and there is a resturnt underneath which the blue water passes onto another place. It is so peaceful and beautiful to looo at
Terrific panorama and unforgettable experience! Cherry of the cake is this place to get to know Bern! Another one is on top of Berner Münster. Hot recommend it!
