Great food, fair price for the quality you get (still pricy of course, but hey, it’s a location with 14 Gault Millau points currently :)). Amazing variety of quality wines. Nice retro-style ambiente with wonderful interior. Some of the staff is excellent, whereas the older ones definitely could improve their friendliness.

Warmth smiling starting from receptionist and everyone approaches our table. The waitress understand we don't like alcohol and recommend the Mandarins juice and it was good. All the appertize, soup and main dishes were delicious for us too. It was good memories for us in Bern.

A traditional brasserie atmosphere. The service was super friendly and the food tops. I had the cold marinated salmon as an appetizer, which was simply excellent. The prices aren’t cheap (but where in Switzerland is?!?). You get a good value for the money. Would happily return.Excellent service, and good food.Lovely Wiener schnitzel, very friendly service - perfect lunch!

Will start with the good: Beautiful atmosphere and the service was excellent. The food was presented nicely. Negative: The food was severely mediocre and equal to what would be served at a tourist trap. It could be so much better. You could tell that that Zurcher Geschnetzelts was cooked in a big batch and had been sitting for awhile. Not freshly fried in a pan the way it should be.

Worth the money! Waiter overeager. On a follow-up visit on a Friday, I ordered an offer of the day. It wasn't much cheaper than à la carte but considerably less tasty. It seemed thrown together from what was left-over from the week: a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Stick with the tried and true. Service was at first slow, but greatly improved during the meal.

A nice place with excellent cuisine, in the very center of Bern. Classic and creative at the same time, combining shrimp and scallops in a delicious butter sauce. The Rhubarb cake is a subtle combination of traditional vegetable and advanced sorbet. The sommeliers have excellent knowledge of unsung, fruity local wines. We tried the Sauvignon blanc with delight. The server is not unfortunately in the same league.

Outstanding restaurant. Elegant, good service and the food was delicious. But also very expensive.

My partner and I ate two breakfasts and a dinner here. All were delicious and the service was of the highest standard. If you stay at the Hotel Schweizerhof, take the breakfast package, it is definitely worth it to eat here. Everything we ate was cooked to the highest possible standard and the staff simply could not do more to make each meal a wonderful experience.
