Service was good, waiting time very short, PhotoBooth for passport photos is available (25 CHF for 4 photos - have small change ready, since the machine does not give change or credit , 10 and 20 bills accepted, as well as coins). They accept all CCs but Amex for the Visa application. Returned today to pick up my Visa. I am so thankful that the vfs and the Indian Embassy were able to expedite the issuing of my Visa! Thank you to everyone who was involved and saved my vacation!

The Visa Center kept my passport for 6 weeks, when it should have been a maximum of 10 days. They utterly failed to keep me informed about all the delays that were happening, to the point that I had to get myself a second emergency passport and almost cancel another trip that I had planned 4 (!) weeks after I originally handed over my documents to the Visa Center. Their support was laughable. The hotline was not reachable 90% of the time. They almost cost me my flight to India as well and if I hadn‘t contacted and pushed them every stept of the way and across the finish line I surely wouldn‘t have made it. Even a zero star rating would be more than they deserve.

The service delivered by vfs is far below standard and should be revived by the ambassador. Mainly the high mailing cost is frustrating as the only use FedEx being not well established in Switzerland. The applicant could save a lot of money if they would use the Swiss Post. Further the vfs website is not up to date regarding cost. A pick-up comes at the same price as if they would send the passport to your home. An extra cost of CHF 25. This is an unnecessary first negative impression of beautiful India.

The opening hours as posted by google are wrong. After 4 pm one can only pick up, not bring in visa applications. The electronic visa has major flaws which forced me to repeat the procedure 5 times. It is unacceptable that one is forced to declare oneself religious
Service lent, personnel serviable mais relativement incompétent. Necessite une fortune pour tout (photos, application form). Temps d'attente démesuré. A éviter ! Pour les séjours courts, favoriser le e-visa, bien moins cher et avec moins de contraintes.
Freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Angestellter. Wir mussten nicht anstehen und sind innerhalb von weniger als 20 Min (für 2 Visa) mit dem ganzen Prozess durch gewesen. Selbst die Fotos im speziellen Format haben wir im Automaten vor Ort angefertigt und hat geklappt. Automat hat einzig keine Noten akzeptiert, nur 5 Fränkler.
