Does everyone smoke grass in the Lorraine? A friendly, informal garden and a real community center with tasty, reasonably priced fare. What we didn’t appreciate was the smoking of rather pungent grass at the table next to ours. Despite our asking, this was apparently fine with the staff. It was really very strong and penetrating and spoiled the experience, which otherwise was pleasant. People, if you have to smoke grass don’t make everyone else do it too. Unpleasant.

I love this place, feels like something you'd find in Berlin. Nice old wood furniture, freaks and \strange\ people in every corner, attitude... meaning a place with character! Very \alternative\. Vegan food options, casual atmosphere. They make it clear that activists are welcome. They don't give you a polished, cold, artificial experience as you would normally find in Swiss cafe's / restaurants. Note: I don't expect anything from \service\, so this might not be your place if that is important to you. I feel awkward about others \serving\ me generally. I've only been here twice and both times had to ask to order. I prefer this to anxious workers or those putting on a fake smile.
Bar with the best vibes in town
Very unprofessional service! We ordered brunch menus, but then got everything mixed up (scrambled eggs for all of us in one bowl, missing spreads, meat and cheese platter that contains 2 rolls of ham even though menu says 2 types of meat and so on). They did not bring us plates and cutlery and we had to chase the waiter to ask for them (even though he already brought food). Finally, they don’t accept cards in 21st century!
Worst restaurant atmosphere. I walked in there and there was lots of people and one waiter. By the time he got to me and gave me a menu it was all in German. I asked for an English and he didn't have one. Kept waiting on him just to ask one question about the menu then he would leave. Terrible service... and food didn't seem too good. Everything pricey so I just left. I couldn't get anything.
