We were greeted when we arrived by a guy who explained that the check-in can be done starting at 4 pm with an ARROGANT and SUPERIOR attitude. I then told him that my girlfriend need to go to the bathroom and he asked very surprised ,,what? ". Then he repeated once more that check-in is done after 4 pm. That was the moment when I realized I was talking with a robot. The bathroom was there and opened (we realize this after check in). The robot told us like it was a super offer that he will do the check in 30 min earlier. But those 30 min became 10 min and until that time he just spend the time making some coffee. He didn't ask us if we want some coffee or someting. We just stayed there and watched him doing noting. Maybe next time they will hire a man not a robot.

This is a great place with a great value. Easy, super clean and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. You can’t get a better location in the beautiful city of Bern.
Nothing more, or less what it is promising. Great, and reasonable place to stay.
Great location. Clean. Each dorm bed has both Swiss and European outlets. Free lockers. Public transportation included. Check in until 10pm only. No breakfast. No free coffee (only free tea).
Even though I wasn't able to stay at the hostel, yet, I had a great experience with their stuff. Because we couldn't go on vacation, they were very friendly and supportive regarding the cancelation. I will definitely be a guest on day and can highly recommend the service!
My mum and I had a wonderful stay here. The location is perfect and the owners of Bern Backpackers Hotel Glocke are super nice and helpful. We were here during summer holiday and stayed for one night. Next time if we are in Bern, we will definitely stay here again! :)
Right in the heart of the city, near all the main tourist destinations. Clean and comfortable, the only point was the tiny bathroom. Totally recommended.
