I can only recommend Sophie for anyone who is looking for fresh ideas, new combinations or a general wardrobe check. I‘ve worked with Sophie twice now and this was for sure not the last time. Very professional and fun!

For my birthday, I was given some hours with Sophie. It was my first experience of working with a personal stylist. In short, Sophie was fantastic. I didn't doubt that she was going to be knowledgeable about fashion and design — but I was particulary impressed with those surrounding aspects of the experience. For example, Sophie was punctual for our appointments (important to me), so much so that for our session to try on clothes in the department store, she had clearly gotten there early to already build up a pile of clothes for me to try on. Sophie was also noticeably focussed on building a relationship with me, to ensure she fully understood who I was, what I valued, and what I wanted to accomplish with the sessions. The end result was a significant addition to my wardrobe. I had a great FOUR hours out and about in Basel, and while I was quite tired at the end, it was a great experience — made all the better by Sophie's support, expertise, and deft way of intuiting what I really wanted. As a man, I don't often hear other men talking about having an experience with a personal stylist, but I can definitely recommend it — as a gift, too as I experienced. But man or woman, Sophie's experience in this field shows, and I fully recommend her to anyone considering using her services!
This was my first time working with a personal stylist, and all I can say is that it is completely worth it!! I wish I'd done this years ago. I booked this appointment to find things to wear for a photo shoot. Sophie was a lifesaver. In addition to outfit recommendations, she had so much other valuable advice on how to have a great shoot. Not only did I come away with things to wear for the photos, but now I also have a refreshed wardrobe for everyday use -- from just a few strategic additions, plus some brilliant combinations from my existing wardrobe that I never would've thought of. Sophie widened my fashion horizons just enough for me to feel updated and cool, while still feeling like myself.
When I moved to Switzerland from a desert climate, I needed to adjust my wardrobe & fill in some gaps. Style Mixers made it fun & easy. (And I don't usually like shopping with other people.) Now some of my favorite pieces are pieces she suggested...ones I would have never have looked at twice on my own. Add to that, that Style Mixers prices are absolutely affordable; making hiring her way more cost effective than buying ill-fitting clothes & hiring her becomes a no-brainer.
