I stumbled across this place and admit that I was both drawn and skeptical of the self advertised claim of being the best bar in town. I haven't been to enough to properly validate the claim, but out of the three I've been to, this place is the best. A fantastic selection of liquor, local beer on tap, and the friendliest and open environment. The bar keep is very inviting and so personable. The place used to be a little shop but when that business stopped being profitable, his parents turned it into a bar. He inherited the place about 11 or 12 years ago and has kept up this wonderful place. You don't have to believe me when I say it's the best bar in town. Find out for yourself. You will see it to be true.

Great decorations and atmosphere
Nice quiet quirky bar between Barfusserplatz and Marktplatz for a drink, with really fascinating decor - it's like entering into Aladdin's Cave
