Pretty interesting restaurant, the way it’s decorated, the menu and music. I would have to say that they put a lot of effort into creating the Mexican/American atmosphere, not sure of they managed successfully. I would have expected more Mexican dishes considering the interior, they have a rich menu, but it’s mainly based on burgers, ribs and chicken wings. We went for the burger and the bbq ribs. The best thing about the burger were the pickles but overall was okay. The fries not so soft on the inside but we’re crispy on the outside. To be honest I would have expected a bit more of a kick in our dishes and maybe more flavor for the price we paid. The staff was welcoming and friendly throughout the evening.

Great place with nice texmex food
Amazing ambient, but very expensive food, you might get better and cheaper food on the McDonald's just in front of it, the ambient is nice though. Fries were actually good but the burgers were not out of the ordinary, same goes with the ribs. Considering what they cost were not remotely worth it... Also after checking two times with the waiter that I've ordered two small cokes (2,5dl), he said yes, on the bill there were two 5,0dl almost double the price... Never again, too much expensive and bad service... Seriously, just go to the McDonald's in front...
The place is nice but it most probably not the best texmex place in your life. The real flavours are missing and even some of the ingredients does not fit to the frame.
Expensive but uninspiring burgers. When you pay close to 30 CHF for a burger, you expect something way above what you’d get in a budget drive-thru, but that’s unfortunately not the case. There are much better options in Basel! Service was slow and not engaged. Location is good, nice ambience, but really don’t see any reason to come back any time soon...
My favourite restaurant in Basel period!!!! So many memories!!! The food is great, and service is good, not great, but I guess because of the fact that it's always full!! I also had the chance to drink at the bar! My fav thing about the place is the style (Mexican), it's REALLY coloured and there is always good music on the sound system! I do think tho, that it's a little bit expensive! I've been there several times and I never spent less than 80 CHF sometimes even 100 CHF!! But I think cause of the whole treatment and atmosphere they are worth the bill!
This place offers an attractive, almost incredible interior and ambience inside. The dishes are rather second-class and the staff has no particularly good idea how to deal with customers. Once you have finished your meal, you will no longer be tolerated long, the next (stupid) customers are standing on the stairs and waiting for an empty table. I give 3 stars and have to say, that this rating is generous.
It smelled like a toilet when we came in. We ordered drinks, saw the prices and decided it would be money better spent somewhere else with higher quality food for the price. But the smell of the toilet remained consistent as we finished our drinks, which were good so I could see myself coming back to the bar.
