I would say: order the cocktails and enjoy the environment but skip the food. The food is rather unexceptional in this place, second time visiting, second time I'm underwhelmed by it. Quite bland, too simple, and that is definitely not reflected on the price. It's not bad per se but it doesn't live up to expectations. In Basel, where trendy & hip restaurants and bars are not the norm, Nomad stands out, now they just need to step it up with the food.

Been here several times on different occasions over different mealtimes. Great location and has a lovely atmosphere. The brunch wasn't my favourite and i think a bit overpriced for what you get. However the ambiance is great and the times I went they had live music which added a special touch. Lunches are my favourite. Always quick and delicious at a fair price. For drinks its also a great spot. Sometimes the staff is a little slow to react but given the space they have to cover thats understandable. They are always extremely welcoming and helpful. Will continue to visit for food and drinks!
