The best \crèche\ in Basel. The staff is amazing, kind and thoughtful. They respect individual kid's development and listen to their needs. This is a micro structure with many activities offered. They go out as much as possible, sing, paint, cook...my child loves it!

EFDB school is known by us since we were children. Effectively one of my sisters attended the school when she was young. After she left the school, she finished her studies in Paris and was top of the class. So naturally we enrolled our twins at the school when we moved to Basel. And we have to say that the quality of staff, the care, the level of education, the friendliness, the activities planned as well as strong friendship created at school in the amazing city of BASEL are a total reward for us ! And comfort totally our choice. Not to mention the German lessons provided as part of their daily learning exercises. I would recommend the school to any parents who are looking for excellent quality school for their little ones. Children are from all over the world. And the school guarantees an A2 level for German at the end of elementary studies. We are fully satisfied but most of all our children are happy to go every day ! Cheers, DFR

L'école Française de Bâle est pour nos enfants un bien beau jardin dans la ville; de la crèche à l'élémentaire en passant par la maternelle, nos chères petites fleurs y poussent et s'épanouissent ensemble dans la diversité et le respect des uns, des unes et des autres…et ce depuis 1884. \Les maîtres d'écoles sont des jardiniers en intelligences humaines.\ Citation de Victor Hugo ; Faits et croyances (1840).

C'est une école formidable, à dimension humaine, les instituteurs sont à l'écoute des enfants et des parents. L' enseignement est convivial et plein de vie, des chansons, des comptines, et la culture française se trouvent partout (jusque dans les assiettes avec une cantine au top). Pour la classe des petits, mon enfant a eu l'occasion de faire de nombreuses activités culturelles (musée, expo) , et aussi de découvrir la nature avec des ballades en forêts. A recommander à tous les parents desireux de voir leurs enfants évoluer dans un environnement sain, ouvert à toutes les cultures et respectueux du rythme de chacun. Par ailleurs les frais de scolarité restent très avantageux si l'on compare avec les écoles privées bâloises.
