Lovely view, however many people smoke and this is annoying. Friendly and professional staff. Went there for drinks and I had best moktial ever. Chanel was so tasty and interesting. Also tried virgin cloves and was tasty. I do recommend you to go if you r visiting Basel.

The ONE Best Dish

Dishes: 4 course lunch menu with: - Poké Bowl: barely any salmon, bland taste - gazpacho with scallop: fresh and tasty gazpacho with nicely crispy-roasted scallop (1 piece only) - Best Dish: Filet de Boeuf: nicely roasted tender filet but well-done instead of medium-rare with rich, very flavorful sauce - this must not happen in such an establishment - Profiterole were simply boring - wine: Riesling by the glas from Alsace; first bottle was open for too long; you should expect the service to check beforehand in Atmosphere: beautiful with view on the Rhine and brasserie style interior; large windows provide you with the feeling of sitting directly on the water Service: great, friendly service Price: CHF 125 for menu; CHF 300 with 2 glases of wine and water for lunch - bad price for value Summary: only the ambience saved the disappointing experience

There are different reasons why you might want to visit this upscale restaurant: you could come for the view of the Rhine River, for the French brasserie food or the service. You wouldn't be disappointed in any case. Great place for a romantic dinner. The dress code is business casual. Prices for main dishes are in the 50-60 CHF range. The restaurant is smoke- and cellphone free.

We had a bit dissapointing experience with them. We booked a table monthes ago for an important event. Because of the change of corona regulation, their situation went unclear, so we contacted them repeatedly. Finally after two days they reached us, and explained their situation. We wanted to take our time to consider, weather it is possible to reduce the participants number or so. But the restaurant tried to convince us to decide in two days to sell the table to other group. We understand, they might have difficult time because of Covid-19, but it dissapoints us against the expectation for a good rated restaurant.

Fancy picturesque restaurant. Amazing food, awesome service, must check this restaurant out if budget allows. Good wine selection, must try the mashed potatoes. Steak and duck were great, sauce made the dishes. Lobster bisque was good. Seemed to be an unofficial dress code, dress well.
