Nice interior. Friendly staff. Food was ok but not overwhelming (Flammkuchen).
Trying out this veggie burger around the Basel main trainsstation was extremely rewarding - tasty and fully living up to expectation! Great value in this context, where fastfood chains, faux bakeries and massmade sandwiches rarely offer the hungry traveler the peace of mind you need when on the road! Service was excellent too - will return anytime I am passing through!
good beer and very unfriendly service, was snarled at by the lady in the suit for no reason. General bad mood. I would not recommend
Had the pumpkin soup, roast beef and pana cotta. They were nicely done, and the ambience of the restaurant was quite good
There was an accident happened in the restaurant on Friday, 20 Sept 2019. Mass dirty water with black color from the ceiling came out suddenly. All guests got shocked. My jacket was totally wet and dirty. Unfortunately there was no apologize from the hotel, not even an offer of a free drink nor a word of sorry. I am surprised about the hotel management which is not customer-orientated hospitality style. This restaurant is definitely not my choice anymore. Dear Ms. F. Kohnle Thanks for the reply. My point ist not about water( even though it was dirty water at the beginning for a while), but the treatment to the guests. Would my feedback be helpful for the management team to make self-reflection?
Quite nice place next to station. Food was excellent. Beer was good too. Staff were friendly and quick to attend. Toilet need a code to enter.
Menu limited but very tasty. Service could have been a bit more efficient.
