We had a winter jacket to fix immediately (the pocket was ripped on the side and we had lost a button) during our visit in the city of Bern. All other tailors in the city that I called said they can‘t do it because they don‘t take spontaneous requests. However the tailor here was very accommodating and told us to come by so he can take a look at it. He was super friendly, told us to get a cup of coffee downstairs while he fixes it. In 15-20min we had the jacket back and the price he charged was fair. He also showed me what kind of string I should buy next time if i want to sew it myself. I wish there were more people like him in Switzerland.
Have a charcoal Italian merino suit that wore a hole in one elbow. Thought I would never wear it again. Mr. Umeri did some skilled tailoring work that looks far less noticeable than an elbow patch would, as the tailoring is done behind the arm seam. His customer service was exceptional and he reduced the price without my asking when I was able to provide some extra fabric from the hems of my trousers. Very reasonably priced especially considering the quality and detail of the work.
Ich gehe regelmässig zu Herr Umeri der immer professionnel und hilfsbereit die Änderungswünsche angeht, manchmal auch unkonventionelle Lösungen findet und preislich in einem korrekten Rahmen bleibt. Sehr zu empfehlen...
Eine schreckliche Erfahrung! Ich wollte etwas ganz Simples an einer Jacke nähen lassen, wusste genau, was ich wollte...der Schneider versuchte mir ewigs etwas Kompliziertes aufzuschwatzen, öffnete sogar ungefragt eine Naht... wurde fast wütend, weil ich das nicht wollte, was er vorschlug....Am Schluss war die Situation so unangenehm eskaliert, dass ich mit meiner Jacke wieder ging.
Mr Umeri est très acceuillant et sympathique. J ai apporté des pantalons, jeans, vestes de costume... le travail est très bien fait et dans un temps très correct. Des séances d essayage sont aussi possibles pour être sûr que la modification va parfaitement... Très content dans l'ensemble. Je continuerai à apporter mes vêtements !!!
Bringe regelmässig unkomplizierte und kompliziertere Teile zum Flicken, Kürzen oder Bearbeiten. Professioneller Schneider mit Erfahrung (auch mit teuren Teilen...). Best in town!
Habe 2 Paar Jeans zum Kürzen gebracht. Wurde nett und freundlich empfangen, Jeans waren innert 2 Tagen fertig und der Preis war auch ok (15.- pro Kürzung). Werde dieses Schneideratelier wieder aufsuchen wenn ich wieder Änderungen brauche.
