For a long time I had noticed that very occasionally when I moved the hands of my watch with the winder, it would stop. But I could always get it going again. I thought it just needed servicing. One day on impulse I left it with Strobel, as I happened to be in Arlesheim. Usually I go to an excellent watchmaker in the city. When I finally got my watch back, it wasn't working at all any more. I was flatly told that it was unrepairable. My usual watchmaker disagreed. He has found a solution quite easily, and now my watch is fine again. Draw your own conclusions...
