I spontaneously had an hour's ski lesson with Martin from Alpine Sports Andermatt and am SO thankful to him. He was fantastic and spotted immediately several things I was doing wrong (I've just come back to skiing after a 20-year break...). He helped me to fix them with some drills, advised me competently on ski length/hire and was very patient, relaxed and supportive. The Alpine Sports ski school itself was also very flexible, helping to arrange payment remotely without any trouble. I understand it's a very international school with lots of ski instructors who speak different languages (Martin's English was perfect). I will definitely book another longer lesson when I go back to Andermatt in a couple of weeks. Many thanks!

Our family of four (2 young teenagers) has been very impressed by the quality of ski coaches provided (one for the kids, one for an adult intermediate). The teaching has been exceptionally good (at the adult level without doubt the best and most experienced coaching I’ve encountered in any ski school) and we were really happy with the bespoke service provided by Peter at Alpine Sports, who has been extremely flexible and helpful throughout. Highly recommended, we will certainly use Alpine Sports Andermatt again.

Organized a last minute off-piste guide with Peter. He was very attentive and found a great solution for me in less than a few hours. My guide for the day, Marco, was incredibly friendly and competent. He really gave me some great tips / drills that immediately improved my skiing. The snow quality forced us to stay on-piste for most of the day, but that just means I’ll have to come back!

Our kids aged 10 and 6 just did a week’s ski lessons at the Alpine Sports Ski School in Andermatt. The overall experience was excellent- this is a top-notch ski school. Briefly here’s why: 1.\tThe ski instructors are just great. We had Martin and Maria. Both were great with the kids, very capable teachers, energetic and just plan nice people. They are both excellent ski instructors and part of the reason is that Martin ( who is Swiss ) and Maria ( from Spain) are both impressively multilingual. Our kids were taught in English, and both Martin’s and Maria’s English is excellent. This is not a given for ski instructors in Switzerland. 2.\tThe management of Alpine Sports Ski School was also impressively flexible and available. We are in the middle of a global pandemic so even though on most days, due to cancellations our kids were the only ones in the class the lessons still took place. This is just fantastic! I have never had this experience in my 6 years of kids group ski lessons in Switzerland. My experience until now is that the lessons would be cancelled if there’s only one child in the group.

Highly recommended! We put our two children (8/4) in 2 different courses for several days. Both kids had a awesome time and made excellent progress in skiing! The care was individually, reliable and flexible, with a maximum of service, all around. We will definitely book this school again the next time. Thank you Martin, Jitka and Han!

I am an absolute beginner in my mid 40s and had a three hour lesson with Martin who did not only teach me the basic skills but also helped me to overcome my paralysing fear of steeper sections. We had a wonderful day and even had a nice chat together in the relaxed Himalaya bar with some friends of mine long after the lesson was over. I'll be back soon and definitly book another lesson with Martin.

Big thanks to Alpine Sports for a great offpiste day finding the POW. Han was a Top guide/instructor and got the difficulty level just perfect for my girlfriend and we managed to get a technical run in for myself. Thank you Peter for answering the phone speaking in English, that made the booking process really smooth and reassuring we was getting exactly what we wanted.
