Popular tourist attraction in the Emmental. It's mostly a large shop with locally made cheeses and other dairy products - if you're lucky, you can watch some cheese being made in the facility in the courtyard below. Production starts in the morning, so it's recommended to be there early. In the afternoon, you can sign up for a workshop to make your own fresh cheese. Attached is a rustic restaurant with a great view over the valley, outdoor seating area and a playground. Great for children.

I thought the tour was brilliant and well worth visiting. I liked walking through the different rooms on the tour and the English translation was spot on. Great for adults and children alike. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed watching the cheese making demo. The restaurant was good. I had the quiche and salad, my wife the cheese soup. Both were delicious.

Nice food at a reasonable price. The best attraction is the wonderful mountain views. You can see green grass with snow!
