The Plastic Pipes and Fitting Association (VKR) is an alliance of manufacturers domiciled in Switzerland and factory representatives from foreign manufacturers of plastic pipes and fitting. Its primary task is to promote plastic as a material in pipeline construction. In addition, the association represents the economic, politico-economic and technical interests of its members in specific cases. As a typical Swiss association, the VKR is largely based on voluntary support and the willingness of its member companies to play an active role in the association. This cooperation opens up a large network of contacts for the member companies - also for special technical and political problems - and enables the VKR to provide the expected services on the market. The VKR divides its main activities into three areas: training and professional education, communication and technology. The Association also attaches great importance to the national and international network. The VKR supports authorities, administrations, planners and fabricators with manufacturer-neutral information on plastic pipes and pipeline components. Specialists from our member companies are available on request to conduct manufacturer-neutral presentations.
