Went to pickup bike for my brother. 94Chf.- for an 1 inner tube change and 1 tire change. Was 121Chf.- before i asked for clarification on the work done. Said the error was due to the employee cashing me in not knowing how to use the new system they installed. Either case it seems pretty expensive but might be common in zurich. I am not from the area.
Bought today some bag for my brompton. The staff was super friendly and helpful! Will definitely return. Prices are good!
Do NOT bring your bike here, you will just waste your time and money. They "fixed" a flat tire for me but they didn't do it properly because after riding the bike once, the tire was flat again. I brought the bike back the next day and they fixed it again (I assumed for free) but then asked me to pay AGAIN because there was "no guarantee." I said I should not have to pay because they never fixed it properly the first time. When I refused to pay they called the POLICE. Seriously, AVOID VELOFIX AT ALL COSTS, they are dishonest and mean.
I was happy with the service. I wanted them to fix the breaks and make a small overall check-up, and they fixed everything, including the smallest details (such as fixing the broken bell or securing the basket). I also found it slightly cheaper than the other 2-3 bike shops I've been to in Zurich.

went there some time ago to fix flat tire before work, the mechanic gave me the following comment immediately as he saw me with the bike, 'your bike must be from china, chinese bikes always break. you brought it here from china?'. i told him politely that it's a cannondale, he started asking questions about me. i got the ridiculous high price quote which they couldn't even fix it before the next day. so i left, took a bus and brought it to another store close to my office to fix instead.
Just wanted to have my tires blown up and the mech to have a quick general look (like breaks etc.) over lunch time... the guy didn't even bother to get outside, he wanted me to blow them up myself with a lousy pump and didn't have a look at all. Just a quick help and check was needed and I would also have paid something of course. However - the guy there was not bothered at all. Never gonna go back there, Veloschmiede (close to Schmiede Wiedikon as well) is so much friendlier and nicer.
