Helpful, fast, professional and reasonably priced. I was in a bind; the gear cable on my road bike had basically snapped, and the ball-end was lodged somewhere in the front gear lever assembly. A real pain of a job. anyway, i stopped in to Velo Lukas, and despite there being what seemed like a hundred bike in various states of repair being seen to, they took the bike on short notice on a Friday afternoon at around 1530, and had it fixed by 1800. They indexed the gears, oiled the chain, replaced the gear cable and set it up right, all for 41 CHF. By Zürich standards, I was robbing them. Props to Kevin in particular for being an all-round mensch.

Good Local Bike Shop The service and prices are fine, although nothing to write home about: a standard local bike shop. However, Velo Lukas does keep a 24x7 air pump available, which is a really nice service now-days. They've had problems with vandalism in the past, but decided to keep the pump free and available. Thanks!

Unfriendly people, bad service. Here's the story. I bring my ebike with broken brakes. First guy tells me tomorrow, Saturday, they have no time to repair. I ask if we can make an appointment for the week after. But he does not know... Second guy jumps in and tell me that it depends if they have a lot of customers, so we agree that I bring it on Saturday morning. When I come on the next day, third guy tells me they decided not to repair this brand of bikes, because I bought it on the internet! They seem to have too much work... and forgotten that I bought one bike in their shop three years ago. Have these guys heard about \Service\? Would they accept to be treated like that in a shop or in a restaurant? I doubt it.

found the service very dry and expensive, i had a tire changed for 70 francs! and the guy didn't even pump the other tire for me. I would not recommend this shop at all, had honestly the worst bike shop experience ever.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Abus-Helm in Zürich, den ich vor dem Kauf gerne ausprobieren wollte. Also habe ich ein paar Veloläden durchtelefoniert und schnell den Chef Lukas von Velo Lukas am Hörer. Das Modell war leider nicht auf Lager, wurde aber sofort in meiner Wunschfarbe und den zwei möglichen Grössen bestellt. Am Nachmittag gabs dann noch ein Update, dass die Helme bereits am Folgetag im Laden sind. Ich also hin, beide Grössen probiert, Probefahrt gemacht und dann auch gekauft. So wünsche ich mir \Offline\-Handel im Jahr 2020. Klar war der Helm etwas teurer als Online, aber bei so einem zackigen Service, zahl ich gerne etwas mehr. Vielen Dank!
