Wow what a great afternoon in the hammam! Krishna the Ayurveda masseur has golden hands that do wonders! I love to come back again! Very pleasant quiet atmosphere! Thank you all!

Loved the experience! It was my first time in a Hamam. It was great to have everything given to you at the reception, so you don't need to bring anything. After this afternoon I am very relaxed. I would have loved it if at the reception basic instructions were given, since I was not the only one who was uncertain how to start my experience. I definitely recommend it!

Stadtbad... I go there every time I'm in Zurich. Either for two hours of spa, relaxing on the hot stone or in the sauna, going through the 10 steps of their well designed spa journey. Or I treat myself and I book one of their massage, try the Ayurveda one, it's a total rebirth.

a fantastic relaxing ayurveda experience! highly recommended) the spa area itself is rather small and somewhat crowded, but nice ambiance.

Avoid peak times, otherwise you may not get in. We were lucky and only had to queue for 5 minutes. In fact, I was a bit skeptical, because not all reviews I had read are positive. But it turned out that the service quality was really satisfying – all staff were very friendly, even the lady who reminded us that we should not be talking loudly did so politely. The design of the place is quite good, it was clean, and everyone was respectful. They give you two towels – one to be worn everywhere except for the sauna, and one especially for the sauna: you sit on it naked. I recommend to bring a third towel to dry yourself after the very last shower. The only improvement suggestion I'd make is that upon entering the venue, the lady at the counter did not inquire whether it was our first time visiting and only instructed us when I specifically asked for it. Lastly, it's expensive, but you get something decent for it in return.

I had just landed from Chicago and went to relax and recharge after the long flight. It was perfect! Clean, soothing and relaxing. The 9 step process was perfect. Call ahead of you want a massage. Must be comfortable with opposite sex nudity, although not totally overt.

I've been here twice by now, the first time for a massage and second one to relax after the first week back at work. You start your spa experience at the receptionist who will give you towels and bathrobe. They also include a little card with a map and steps to take at the spa. After the changing room you come into a hallway, going left there is a relaxing space with books, free water and tea and a little kiosk where you can buy some food. You can lie on beds and close curtains to have your own little quiet space. On the other side of that hall they have the spa area, with a big hot stone in the middle, surrounded by all the other spaces such as Hammam, sauna, cold water bath, rain space,... The entire spa has a dark interior, the lighting is very soft. People are respectful about each other's space (they have little notes on the bathroom mirrors about averting your eyes when others are changing and not getting all up in each other if you to as a couple. In case you feel uncomfortable because of others they encourage you to go see the reception). It feels like a spot where people simply go to relax and take their mind off the working days. It's quiet and I feel really at ease there, even when it gets a bit crowded. I think it will be my staple spot to go to once a month
