After spending few hours walking around, we finally found a nice restaurant to enjoy a good meal. The restaurant is located on the roof of a Department store... it's busy and crowded. The menu is fusion... between Asian and European, and we easily found what we liked. The view is amazing, even if you stay indoors... there is an outside seating area as well. Friendly crew... we had a good time, myself and my wife.
Very nice concept. We had two beers. Service was great. View of the passing trams on Bahnhofstrasse below was special. Recommended.
The visit was great! Entirely due to the smiley, friendly and helpful waiter, who explained that unfortunately the outside balcony full, he proceeded to be attentive, translated the menu, gave suggestions on both the food and drinks, service was quick and efficient, and the suggested food and cocktail was scrumptious! Would be 5 star's but chairs inside are too low backed to be relaxing for two weary shoppers.
The location is a bit hard to find, but the area is nice. If you manage to get a seat outside, then you will be cooled off by the mist and umbrellas. The wait staff is very fast and attentive. The food prices are a bit high for the amount, but the quality is still good. The washroom is a bit difficult to find. I assume there is one for all men and another for handicap, but I didn’t see a sign for women. Either the men washroom is for all genders and the pissoir hides the Women’s side, or the single handicap washroom is also for women. I would come here again, but definitely make a reservation if you want to sit outside and not at the bar or inside.
I was genuinely surprised by the food as I'm not typically one for dumplings, for instance. Nevertheless I find myself recommending the vegetarian ones! Also the hummus with naan is delicious.
Decided to have brunch with girlfriends. After the bill arrived, it became clear that because of Corona times you do not pay a fixed price like usual, but for every single drink and meal you order. On top of that the waitress got extremely unfriendly and unpolite, when we asked her to divide the bill in 3. Well that will Modissa Rooftop for me in the near future. They should definitely do the curtosey to explain to the customers, how they are being charged. Otherwise, this is just Abzocke
I’m not sure how anyone could not give this a 5 Star royal treatment. Super fun, great atmosphere and easy to walk in to in the early afternoon. Make a reservation after 6 on the weekends and enjoy a good crew. Staff is young, fun, dressed well - looking spectacular and the food and drinks are fresh, fun and worth it. Say hello to my friend Simone at the bars he’s awesome!
