My favorite restaurant in town. The steak is so good and the fries as well. And the deserts leave you breathless I would recommend the profiteroles and the creme brûlée

Not a good restaurant. Dated interior, only one item on the menu: Salad, oily sauce poured all over mediocre meat and french fries. Nothing was particularly good. Will not come back.
Food is OK. Interior and the atmosphere could be improved. Also the servants seem a bit too ‘fake-french’, but they are still friendly.
The sauce is incredible. Fries are also good. Meat could be more tender. The choice of wine is really porc they have their house wine, it’s cheap and ok.
Mediocre. Let’s start off with the service, which was overall good. Staff was friendly, spoke descent German/English and seemingly smiled under their masks. But... there is no way a good service can be kept by a singlehanded waitress managing 7 tables in parallel, and expected to serve French fries with a spoon and a fork. Food came in 2 rounds, 10 minutes apart, there was a massive wine and water shortage and the portions were very small. The one thing that struck me is that the restaurant charges for extra French fries... normally a “café de Paris” type dish has “Frites a discrétion”. Not the case - sadly. Deserts were simply OK. 80CHF per person... suggest going to Bürgli a million times over; if you’re willing to take a 5 minute train down to Enge.
Great meat and desserts. Will come back for sure!
It was Sunday evening. The venue was not full and we thought it's going to be very different to Paris. But the food is wonderful and tasty, the beef tender, fries crispy, just like in Paris. The ladies at service were amazingly friendly and attentive but not too much. We left the restaurant in fully satisfaction.
Go there once a week. Doesn't disappoint.
