This is a very good language school in the close proximity to the center of Zürich. Classes are medium sized (5-15 people, I would say 9 people on the average). Quality of education is a very hard topic and I wouldn't dare to assess it with any degree of objectiveness. Can only testify for myself: I enjoy the process, I feel motivated to learn and move forward most of the time, I am making progress at a nice pace (4 months from A1.2 to A2.3 with an intensive course). Also, I want to give an advice to all the students: it is quite easy to change the group and the teacher in Hallo Deutschschule. If you feel uncomfortable with your current course for any reason, just go to the secretariat and ask to move you. It is nothing unusual to change the group, just look for what is best for you. It helps a lot in many situations. Pricing is relatively good (could be better, but it is Zürich, so all the human services are quite expensive). Coffee is OK (costs 1 SFr, tastes fine). Sanitary measures is also adequate in the current pandemic times. A tip: don't hesitate to politely and nicely ask other people ato comply with recommended antiviral measures. We are all in this together, we can best overcome it together by supporting each other.

Don’t go there without checking carefully! I had really bad experience with the teacher in my class. No discussion possible in this school and each teacher make it’s own rules. My teacher was unrespect, arrogant and unfair between people, plus breaking your desire to continue to studying! They make a lot of strategies within systems school. Should have better when u can know who will be your teacher!
Be very careful with them. Translate carefully whatever they give you to sign. I trusted them and their explanation and didn't translate the contract and now I am in a very bad position. They don't voluntarily give you a copy of the contract but make sure you request and get a copy. Be very careful!
The best place to learn Deutsch i can say that Julian is the best teacher I ever had :) am stying few months with them:)
I am having an amazing experience at the school. Sonja is one of the best language teachers I have met. She is patient, kind, and compassionate. Everyone in class is motivated to learn because she creates an encouraging environment. Hallo Deutschschule has developed such a well considered course. The learning material is intelligent a sets a student up for success even though the german language is a tough one to crack.
If you are not lucky enough in a not professional teacher’s class, it’s hard to directly transfer your tuition to another class, you have to wait and pay for the bad quality classes,that’s really big loss for a student , really regret to book six months course, finally no save,similar to the normal prince! As for customer it’s not very fair, maybe we should ask help from customer service department for solving these problems authoritatively!
I've been taking a few classes here and I've had Christina as my teacher. She's been very patient and helpful throughout my classes. When I started, I could barely speak a sentence in German. She has made me feel more and more comfortable with speaking and she explains everything if I don't understand a concept. I highly recommend Christina, the school and taking the intensive classes!
