I know the Frauenbad from a visitor's point of view, because it is often rented as a party location. And for that, the Frauenbad is really great (of course only as good as or who the organizer is)! In summer, of course, the best decision to rent, due to the pool feeling inside combined with the decoration and music. It invites you to linger and small talk can quickly lead to acquaintances. Conclusion: go, if you have to opportunity! One thing and unfortunately too often the case, you have to be patient when ordering drinks ... it takes way too long to order and get them at the bar...

Really cosy place to have a drink in the evening.
Women only! Possibilities to have a coffee, eat something for lunch (options with no single use packaging!!), grab a book from they mini library, sunbathing. Relaxed and peaceful ambience. Perfect for downtime alone or with friends.
A relaxing an smart paradise from the XIX century in the city centre.
Pros: During the day, it's only for women, so the atmosphere is calm and relaxed. Great place to take a dip. Amazing views of the old town. Cons: Food is nice but highly overpriced. It can also get quite crowded after work and there are sometimes not enough spots in the shade.
Amazing place to relax on a sunny day
It's a relaxing, quiet and comfortable place for ladies to bath. I disagree with earlier comments calling it sexist. It's the most comfortable place to sun bath I have found, away from prying eyes and a part of Zurich history. Ladies enjoy !
