Good burgers and nice collection of cocktails. Quiet place under renaissance hotel

Nice bar/restaurant with different types of seating on the ground floor of the Renaissance Zurich Tower Hotel. The dining space is fairly large and can accommodate groups as well. The personnel is very attentive, quick and friendly. The menu offers a relative good selection of food. I found the food I ordered really good and the portions were properly sized. It is not very cheap, but I supposed it is not surprising for a hotel's restaurant.

Nice location, amazing food: We had the beef fillet and it was perfect! Service was great too. Quite expensive, but you get definitly what you pay for!

Well the bar is really nice, love the way how they play with lights. Staff is friendly but does not know much about champagne, the choice quiet small. First time I got an offer to drink a Blanc de Blancs with Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier :-) we chose a classic DP. Otherwise food is really good, we had the tartare, but we both still were hungry - portion was too small.

The services are good, the restaurant located inside the renaiisance hotel. The food just standard

It is a fairly quiet place, and usually you would not go to a hotel to have dinner. But the cook understands his business really well here, the meet was done to perfection, bleu meaning bleu, nice fries, great fish tartar to start. The prices are as usual in Zurich: high, but the dishes deserve the price. I'd give 5 stars for that. What fails to impress is the service. It starts at the hotel reception, no one speaks Swiss German to start with and there is some lame excuse of why something is not possible, it's like a child giving a justification. But it comes worse. At the table the service is friendly, no doubt, but it is so push that it is to mask that the waiters have no formal education on their job. They will happily reach over the neighbour's plate to take the plate away or put something down. They will constantly try to push you to order while the restaurant is not busy. The waiter had no clue about wines, not the faintest, I think it was the first time he heard that there years indicated on bottles. So while they don't lack friendliness, they are just dilettantes and painful to watch. A bit a pity as the food deserves coming here.

Food is lame. Service is just terrible. It's hard to get anything at all. Don't go there

During the lunch time you cannot get a coffee in the bar. You will be ignored for 15 minutes. Happened multiple times. Extra staff needed for a bar during lunch. After 25 minutes without anybody coming to us, we left.
