Such an extraordinary dining place. Especially at night time, you can have a bird's eye view of the whole bern! Remember you need to book first !

Can't recommend enough! Flawlessly cooked food and all ingredients fresh. Many thanks so much for making our family celebration truly memorable! My brother had a fantastic birthday, we are coming back again. Waiter understood the menu inside out, seriously fulfilled. My buddy was in town so we came here for dinner, great food And atmosphere. We were presented to our table right away without waiting around.

Today we had a dinner at this place with my family. I must say we experienced a very bad service. The food itself was just ok some basic stuff even that went very wrong. We ordered gazpacho which is a cold tomato soup with crotons but it came boiling hot and without crotons. Also we wanted to share two of our plates between 4 of us and we asked for 3 extra plates and we had to ask 4 times and waited for very long and finally the waiter only brought one as well as this we waited for more than 10 minutes to get a spoon. Also when we to pay we had to ask 3 times and when the bill finally arrived the asked as to pay in cash because they said the card machine was not working and I said tough I only have card and suddenly the machine started to work again (trick of the trade). I feel sorry for the Swiss people because these guys think they can get a way with it and I am not sure how they managed to get good reviews. If this restaurant was in London they would be out of business very quickly.

Really friendly staff and quick service. Food a wee bit hit and miss - ok or great.

Location is just by the Rhine, which is perfect for a nice afternoon chat, their choice of beers is limited to one brewery only (but more than a handful of beers), staff is friendly. Falling for the trick of their menu being in Italian, we ordered “Antipasto Misto Grande”, expecting a plate of Italian antipasti, but received a mix of something about as Italian as Starbucks (see photo): canned tuna, pickled mushrooms, feta cheese, boiled egg, wurst, exploded stuffed tomato, sun dried tomatoes in olive oil (in the summer)… Go there, enjoy the scenery and a drink, BUT DO NOT ORDER ANTIPASTO MISTO. We also ordered some bruschette… Old and soft cherry tomatoes on rock hard stale bread (no, not toasted) with balsamic cream drizzled all over it. I think I also tasted some Germanic Senf in the rucola dressing. I’ll be back, but most certainly not for the food.

The ONE Best Dish

We had 3 pasta and shared all of them - pesto, ravioli of the day with a creamy sauce. Amazing pasta vongole - even better than at Chez Donati. After the 3 pasta, we ordered another salsiccia pasta - delicious. For the pasta definitely underrated.

One time visit, nice, typical European service.
