Very clean bouldering place. It's well organized, the problems are good for all levels (but especially beginner and intermediate) and change completely every couple of months. In some days of the week it can be more crowded, but in general it is rather chill. At the entrance you get a wristband specific to the bouldering area, trampoline or both. There's a variety of bouldering problems in terms of technical skills needed. Here beginners are welcome (they even organize intro courses for an extra fee) and some problems don't even go all the way up to the top so that new climbers are not too frightened. Sometimes kids from the trampoline can scream a bit louder indeed (since they're just next to the bouldering area) but the music compensates for that. Plus we were all kids one day and did exactly the same, so I'd rather give them a break... Some other comments mentioned the risk of injury because of the individual mattresses, but that applies to all bouldering gyms. The mattresses are useful and for some easier problems they're not even needed.

Easily the best bouldering gym available within a 1 hour commute radius of Zurich HB (30 minutes to get to this gym with high speed train). Very open area with lots of creative routes and great music. Only improvement I'd suggest is to increase the amount of grades, having only 5 means that there's a massive range of difficulties within one grade.

Very nice bouldering gym in an old Siemens factory. Good setting, clean and new holds, new problems every week!

Didn't spend any time in the trampoline area, which due to it being a wet Saturday afternoon, was extremely busy with children. That said, the boulder area was not only almost empty, but also very large and featured lots of interesting climbs. This, alongside the rest of Freiruum is a welcome addition to the list of things to do in Zug. Highly recommended.

Fun place, but very chaotic. Little kids jumping, big kids running around and playing tag while jumping across the trampolines that others are on. Great idea, and fun for the kids. Ironically, this is a place to avoid on a rainy day.
