New. Friendly. Perfect location in the middle of the village next to restaurants. Perfect for kids of all ages. Very quiet. Even if it's next to the main road, there are basically no cars and sleeping with open windows just let's you hear the sound of the river nearby.
Very nice apartements out of wood and stony intérieur. The furniture and decor are in alpine chic which is very authentic for the region. The apartment makes one feel comfortable. It could do with a little more room to store the personal things especially when you have a baby where you can't place things on the floor. And the matress were hard as stone. What was definitely missing was a diaper bin and a place to change diapers as the apartments are made for family holidays.
Great place to explore the area with kids. Very new apartments, relaxing atmosphere and spectacular views
Flat very dark and small and across from a pub. Sleeping not possible until 3 am because of the music and the shouting of the drunk heads who visited pub. Response at reception we knew that we would have a problem with this flat (but we advertised it as quiet anyway. resort fully booked. sorry).
Beautiful place!
The complex is largely brand new (delivered December 2019), which is very nice. The apartment is beautiful and fully equipped: kitchen is richly equipped, nice bathrooms, bedrooms spacious enough and with fitted wardrobes, well insulated against the cold and ambient noise. Also, the ski lockers are brilliant because they blow your boots dry overnight. The village of Zinal is very quiet: there are only two bars and they were nearly empty, especially during our quiet week. Après ski enthusiasts should go elsewhere. The apartment is approximately 5 minutes walk from the ski lift. Keep in mind that the shopping in the village is very expensive. Taking groceries with you from home will save you a lot. The Zinal ski area is nice but quite small; experienced skiers have seen that in one day. Fortunately you can cross over to Grimentz using the gondola (or black descent, unfortunately often closed) where you can certainly have another 2 days of fun. You can also go by car (or bus) to St Luc - Chandolin, or Vercorin, which are included in the ski-pass. Snowboarders should keep in mind that there are often flat parts that you have to walk over (or be helped over by a skier).
Fantastic location and rooms. A must try if you are in Zinal!
