Awesome experience. Chris, our ski team her did an amazing job teaching us how to ski. Very patient and knowledgeable. Only complaint was that they did not tell us we needed to buy a ski pass at the office, so we had to go back down the mountain to buy one and it wasted some time and 10 francs. Chris however, stayed and taught us for another 20 minutes longer than he needed to. I'd just make sure to buy the pass to ski!
Our instructor, Phoebe, was a wonderful guide and teacher. We are a family of four with two young kids. She was knowledgeable, safe, encouraging and made our skiing in Zermatt wonderful! Summit seems to have a very well run operation and experienced instructors.
I'm from Florida in the United States where it's summer time year round. I've never been on a ski/snowboard my entire life. On my vacation i was recommended this ski school. My friends and I were booked with Mia (or Mya) as an instructor. She was very friendly, spoke perfect English and knew how to explain the sport patiently with an enthusiastic appeal. I was able to hop on the ski and learn the ropes very quickly. With her guidance, by the end of the lesson I was going down level 3 slopes. I have a new love for skiing and can't wait to get back on the mountain! Thanks again Mia!!! :)
Awesome week of ski tuition from Steve (so patient and reassuring with us two nervous skiers!) Love the fact that it's a maximum of four per group which means you really get a tailored lesson which fastracks your improvement. Booking online was a breeze. Don't hesitate to book with these guys.
We booked 2 lessons to refresh our skiing skills after a break of a few years. James, our instructor was amazing at instilling confidence and teaching us good practice. He gave a good explanation of the science behind things and gave easy to remember analogies which improved our skiing to the best it has ever been. He was also very diplomatic and non critical which in my opinion brought out the best in us. Well done!
Awesome ski school and instructors in Zermatt. The small group lessons (max 4 people) are a fantastic and great value way to learn.
