I ate here twice in my 10 days in Zermatt. Once for a curry (I think Moroccan special), and once on Christmas Day. Both times the food was excellent, and great value for Zermatt. It is clearly well favoured by locals, particularly ex-pat English (but not exclusively). I found some of the lighting a little intensive, but once you have a beer or two, who cares. A great place you should visit if you're staying here.

Ordered a Takeaway which was delivered to us in record time, great service in that regard. Unfortunately the food (1 dish in particular) was borderline inedible - so disappointed. Based on all other reviews - perhaps we got unlucky. Korma was so incredibly bitter (almost like my mouth was full of pasty curry powder) before throwing it away I attempted to mix it with the home-made chutney for the poppadoms to salvage the dish. If you are not familiar with Indian cuisine/flavours then this restaurant may suit your palette.
Nice restaurant on the riverside just up the hill from the town centre. Restaurant is very popular so best to book. Food and service are excellent. Sparky(Mark) is very attentive, asking if the food satisfactory. Very good Thai Curry washed down with a nice Fendant white wine. Well worth a visit.
What a find a Zermatt! The owner is really passionate about Asian food, hence you get a great mix of cuisine ranging from Indian to Thai and they are all good!! The staff is super friendly. It's not your fine dine fancy classy place. It's tough around the corner but the folks in there work with compassion. Definitely book ahead of time as they get full real quick!
Excellent food and great service in this cozy restaurant in Zermatt. After eating Swiss food for a week, Sparky’s was a nice change. The lamb curry was excellent and the apple fritters were amazing. Highly recommended.
It was really a delight coming to Sparky's. The food is so great! My boyfriend and I wished we were hungrier since it was so delicious. I ordered Korma Curry and bf ordered Thai Chicken Curry, definitely a must! Sparky and the crew are also super pleasant, he even left the kitchen to say goodbye to us when we were leaving. Overall good food and good place!
Went here for dinner and had the vegetarian curry and also ordered potatoe wedges. Both dishes were tasty. Wedges served with nice cream sauce as a dip. The portions were of good size. The waitress was friendly and the service was nice. The Chef also made effort to come out and greet the guests. Prices are reasonable for the area. I would go back if i ever go back to Zermatt
Had the pork ribs and korma curry with prawns at around 7pm on Sunday. No reservations made but were welcomed warmly nonetheless. Generous portions. Good ventilation (even with the curries). Delicious comfort food. Reasonable prices.
