Delicious food and very kind people here. The steak has a special flavor thanks to the wood grill and the gratin potatoes are super nice. If you come here for dinner, I would recommend to order just the main dish, with the salad and sidedish included and is more than enough. Thank you, lovely people and best of luck in the new year!

Wood grilled restaurant. Tried chateaubriand steak, Excellent and special grilled taste from the wood. All the side dishes are very good. Service is very warm. They are open from June 12.
Authentic home cooking, off the beaten tourist track. Wood fired grill for the meats, handmade pastas, great beverage options including many local beers and wines. This place runs with the efficiency of a Swiss timepiece.

Excellent grilled / barbecue traditional restaurant. The lamb was superb and service is excellent. Wine list is one of the best and the deserts are also very good. We will be back
Wow!!! Some of the best grilled lamb I've had (over a wood fire) & all of the following were 5/5: homemade herb butter homemade french dressing stag filet so tender toblerone mousse our waiter was so fantastic (attentive, charming, funny, spoke so many languages...even Filipino) that he was a highlight of our trip. Will definitely come back!!
Atmosphere: excellent, service:excellent, food: Had the carpaccio and rock salad, the beef consume, but the real star was the smoked duck and lentil salad. Topped off with the caramel flan. My father really liked the the red wine and plums for a desert. The Raclette was also quite good.
As walk-ins we were still welcomed and treated like family. Stunning traditional Swiss atmosphere and appointments and cozy setting in an authentically old Swiss building (with suites above). 4-star menu with surprisingly reasonable bar pricing. We had already eaten at a mediocre restaurant and wished just desserts and cognacs. Stockhorn did not disappoint and we were coddled by attentive service despite our low tip potential. Steak grilling takes place in the open in the middle of the dining action which will delight even the grumpiest of carnivores! Classy place and staff. Since Swiss meals are expensive to begin with, you may as well get something extra for your money.
