We had an amazing stay here. We took a room with a balcony, the view is stunning. The place is up on hill, so you can see the town from up there, the mountains, and a glimpse of the lake.. it’s a breathtaking view.. The breakfast has lots of options with delicious homemade and local dishes. Gabi and Fritz are super friendly and helpful, they will work as a tour guide and tell you all you need to know about the area and where to visit. The area is really quite and peaceful. You can find lots of shops, cafes and restaurants at walking distance.

Our stay at BnB Chalet-Gafri was above my expectations ! First of all, we felt like home, and second, the room was really well-furnished and arranged. Not to mention the delicious and fresh breakfast taken just outside of our room, on our little private table overlooking on the mountains (already missing this view). Fritz and Gabi are amazing hosts, they were super available to give us tips and advices about the area. We followed their recommendations and it made our days perfectly planned, in all weather conditions. Thanks also to Emily that takes care of our breakfast table, she is very kind and pay attention to every little details. In this corona period I was happy that they were super careful about hygiene. At the end of the trip they offered us some homemade jam. Another little detail that makes a difference ! This review is long overdue. Bill and I had such a wonderful time at Chalet Gafri. Fritz and Gabi could not have been warmer and such wonderful hosts. We can't wait for our next trip. The location of the bed and breakfast was ideally located. A short walk to town and the train. It felt like home away from home.

We are a family of 5 plus a dog. We reserved last minute for 2 nights. From the moment I called to reserve a room for our family, I had such a welcoming feeling from Fritz. When we arrived at the chalet, we were impressed. The chalet, the room, the cozy breakfast nook were all beautiful clean and maintained. Fritz and his wife Gabi are so welcoming, genuine and of course knowledgeable hosts. You can tell they take pride in their establishment. Also let's not forget the breakfast - it was delicious! We especially loved the homemade Birchler Muesli and homemade jams and my daughters loved the hot chocolate Gabi made for them. The views were spectacular too, we were sad to leave but we booked for 3 nights in May!!

Fritz and Gabi are wonderful hosts! They have been very friendly and helpful, even offering to pick us up at the train station. The room is beautiful and like new. Highly recommend!

Wow. Fritz is a great fellow. He spent a few minutes with us and we had the days line out. This is a new place. Very clean and near all the love cal places to visit. We will stay here when we return
