On the road that connects Chiavenna to Sankt-Moritz via the Maloja pass you will encounter this unique alpine village. Located in the Swiss part of the Val Bregaglia (a part of the Engadin region belonging to the canton of Graubunden) it exudes peace and tranquility. Hardly inhabited in the winter by one or two families, during the summet the houses in the small-scaled village are inhabited by farmers who leave graze their cattle on the higher alpine meadows.
