I’ve started piano lessons a couple of weeks ago at the Piano Salon and I love it. It is a great place we’re you feel comfortable immediately. Sebastien is a very open and friendly teacher, really trying to get to know you and wants to understand the reasons why you would like to play the piano, so that he can adjust the teaching accordingly and provide individually tailored lessons for you. It is makes a lot of fun and I have the feeling he is challenging me in way that gives me motivation and shows me the progress. I can highly recommend going there!

More than two decades after my last piano lesson, I decided to start over again and found the perfect place to do so here. Sebastien took his time to understand my needs and was very flexible in adapting the structure and content of the lessons to my wishes. Within a few lessons, he was able to spark off a fire and is helping me find and embrace my long-lost passion for playing the piano. Looking forward to many more lessons and can warmly recommend this place.
I was grateful to participate in some private concerts in Sebastiens salon and thank him for exposing me to deep emotions in listening to his music. Not only the sound energy has reached the ear but all the power that vibrates behind this oscillation. His ability to touch the soul comes from a strong enthusiasm in what he does, years of work and perfection of details, a right rigidity and a marked sensitivity. In addition to being an international pianist and an expert piano teacher, he has that extra flame that helps you achieve every goal.
I am pretty sure it is the best place for piano lessons in Zurich. The environment is made such that when you enter, you time transport yourself to the Paris of a romantic era. The piano is amazing, Sebastien is extremely professional and has tons of experience. His teaching method blends technique with the history of the composer and the piece.
The Place? Just at the Tip-Top neighbourhood of Zürich centre with a great view from the rooftop after a concert! The Piano Quality? Whats better than playing on a Steinway & Sons piano? The Teacher? Sebastien is not only an amazing pianist with international experience and a great knowledge of music and music history, but he is also a great and experienced piano teacher. He has this unique way to be strict, but at the same time he motivates you so much that nothing seems to be impossible! Apart from the necessary technical tips of playing correctly the piano, his ultimate goal is to make you feel the music, to express yourself and your own feelings while you play. And that is something more than just playing a piece of music. This has a wonderful impact in your whole life. I highly recommend Sebastian Depuis and his Piano-Salon :-)
Sebastian is a very interesting and genereous host. Been there a couple of times, based on my experience you get great and personable rendition of complex pieces of music, nice company and good discussions, delicious food and wine. Oh, and his place is absolutely gorgeous.
Sebastien organizes very nice house concerts in Seefeld, always a pleasure to attend, great piano music and interesting guests!
I’ve enjoyed several of Dupuis’ Piano Salon concerts throughout Zürich. He performs internationally, so it’s a privilege to see and hear him play in the intimacy of his snazzy rooftop apartment. Great views, sometimes there’s champagne too.
