Santa ANNA monastery, known also as the Capuchin monastery, functioned as a monastery nearly 400 years (till 1997). In 1997 it has finished its role as a monastery due to the lack of young talents in recent decades and due to a need of a concentration of forces. Following the closing, and in order to keep cultivating the place, it was decided to establish an association "Kapuzinerkloster Zug" (active from 1997 till now). The clock tower of the monastery is one of the famous signs of this nice historical place.
