My family and I have moved back to the US a couple of years ago. Currently our children visit a preschool here and I am quite frustrated with their offering. That's why until today I love remembering the wonderful time my kids had at this place Farbstrasse in lovely Switzerland. Everything was just great - children spent ample time outside daily, there was a fun outdoor program, there was something called a \forest day\, my kids learned to light a fire with their teachers, were having lunch in the forst...oh I cannot stress how I miss all this over here - and I am paying the same amout of childcare fees - here and there! To all the families out there who have the wonderful chance to live in this amazing country of Switzerland - enjoy it while you can and my fondest memories are how relaxed and happy I was there with such a brilliant childcare solution. Full recommendation. From a very happy and thankful parent.

My daughter started 'school' with a local Spielegruppe. It was a year full of disappointment, so we switched to a childcare center of a Stiftung in Thalwil and another year of disappointment went by. Finally we enrolled her at globegarden, based on recommendations from friends. We never looked back. The school offers a professional setting with a comfortable number of kids in the classroom and plenty of space for the kids. The whole center is full of light, very open and transparent and bright well-equipped classrooms. Material is at easy accessible level for the kids, plenty of books and also Montessori material (which I learned to love). The team is always friendly and supportive. There is a playground just outside and they spent ample time at the lake. There are regular outings to the forest, gym days and more. There are annual parent-teacher discussions where parents receive information about what the child has learned, individual child portfolio’s, where parents get to see what their child is doing. My daughter has since moved to KG (at globegarden) and primary school (Lakeside School) and is always happy to be in school. I believe the foundation for her love of learning and social competence was laid at globegarden. We are very thankful to all the wonderful staff and will keep fond memories of these preschool and kindergarten years.

Our daughter Juliette has been with Globegarden Thalwil for 5 years, from baby group up to Kita 1. We have always been very pleased. The curriculum was very qualitative, the learning program is always communicated clearly to the parents, we had 2 very detailed feedback twice a year. Educational content is far above the standards. The teachers are all well trained and there is a good balance of senior educators and your trainees. The infrastructure is great for kids, with a quick access to playground and lake. Safety is always high on the agenda of globegarden and we were always impressed with the standards they maintain. Globegarden managed throughout these 5 years to keep a bilingual education (english and german) so that our daughter speaks fluently both languages. Finally, they offer the kids activities outside of the kindergarten (visit of the post office, police, museums,...) to familiarize kids with concepts and complement their learning program. We warmly recommend Globegarden Thalwil for all the above reasons and we are absolutely convinced that it's worth investing 400chf extra per month vs a nany or a public infrastructure to offer such a qualitative educational environment.

Care: I would give 4 stars here. All the teachers my son had in three years are loving and caring. And they provides parents with long working hours good support. They do not have a garden, but close to play grounds, which on good weather they visit all the times. And when teachers were more stable, they also went to Park im Grün and Zürich Zoo. Stability: I would give 1 or 2 stars here. Teacher turnover can be issue. I see a few teachers being in the daycare for a few years. On the other hand, after a group leader leave, there is usually a series of turn over until the group is stable again, if you kid is in that lop can be quite disturbing experience. And during this period, it feels there is no stable curriculum. Clean and food: I would give 5 starts here. Overall, I feel the daycare is good, however, the corporate need to pay more attention to the teachers. Makesure they have good benefits, development. In the end teachers are the asset of the daycare, reducing turnover and building long term employment is the only way to make parents trust GlobeGarden.

Würde Globegarden niemandem empfehlen. Das Management lügt die Eltern an und ist nur am Geld interessiert. Personal bleibt selten bis nach der Probezeit. Die letzten fünf Monate kam dank einer guten Führung endlich etwas Stabilität in die Institution. Leider wurde die Person entlassen.
