Fun day trip from Lucerne with amazing views along the way. Tour was fantastic and included English audio guides. Very interactive - can aim a cannon and even wear the Swiss soldier uniforms. Also appreciated the modern touch with day-glow signage and LED projections. If you get the Swiss Rail Pass this museum is free. A must see regardless!

Enjoyed the visit and the insight into the strategy used by Switzerland leading up to and during WWII. An approximate 20 minute walk from the Stansstad rail station. The exhibit was well organized and most everything had English in addition to German descriptions. Informative staff.
Very interesting. All of the material includes English translation. The attendant was very friendly and helpful. It was the perfect activity for a rainy day in Luzern.
I’m sure I would’ve loved getting to see the fortress, but they’re closed in the winter from November 1 - March 31.
It was built during the war as a fort to protect the country from possible Nazi attack. You can really understand how it works including guns, facilities and etc. Not known or properly communicated but a must go visit! Close by Lucern and the Swiss Knife Valley.
Beautiful place for a day visit
Lovely
