Is a very bright and elegant church. The original chapel had been built in the 7th century. The cloister is very picturesque.
If you like churches, this is a great place to visit because of its history. The library is a must see if you are in the city. Not only is it historically important but its also gorgeous.and small, you don't need much time there!
Beautiful Abbey, access is free and visits are allowed unless religious service is in progress - visitors are allowed to join the service though.

St. Gallen Switzerland. .... its a small but very nice and clean city. Sade and nice to walk around or sit in a cafe or visit churches and museum and one of them is the Abbey which where you can find the old library.
Lovely place! Definitely worth a visit & also the church is very nice also get a audio tour through the town
Very interesting, but a lot smaller the I thought it would be. Make sure you get the audio guide, you can also use it to do a city walk.
