The Institute of Competencies and Qualifications provides Rainbow Portfolio Courses within the following fields internationally: School Education; Vocational Education; College Education; Further Education; Profession and Career; Management and Leadership To give an example: Our Portfolio courses prepare the learning outcomes for students in school, vocational school and college, while simultaneously informing the teachers and lecturers of new methods in humane assessment, incorporating practise based assessments. Our Portfolio also gives a foundation in any field of higher education, further education, profession and career, management and leadership. We prepare and help the users and give them an individual start into a course at one of our partner universities/colleges/academies, who's accredited programmes specialise in the APL procedure (Accreditation of Prior Learning). We also gladly assist in the process of collecting the right data and documents for a successful APL application and validation. In our consultancy we focus mainly on several areas of Portfolio. Previous research and development projects: Following the EU Ministerial Conferences in Bologna (1999) and Copenhagen (2002), we have successfully completed the following projects: 1 Introduction of Portfolio tests in all transitions within the national school system, between primary, secondary (GCSEs and A Levels) graduate and post graduate education. 2 Study design for universities/colleges, training institutions, corporations 3 Modularisation of courses, workload, ECTS credits 4 Structuring of courses and educational activities throughout all levels of the EQF (European Qualifications Framework) 5 New forms of examinations and assessments, 6 Introduction of life learning and learning in external environments The Insititute I-C-Q is internationally looking for institutional partnerships with Universities/Colleges/Academies.
