Munot Fortress - is the most remarkable landmark of Schaffhausen, and it is situated high above the town. The ring-shaped fortress was built in the 16th century. The position of the guard is even older than the fortress itself. The list of guards dates back to the year 1377, and it is nearly complete. a must site for everyone who pass in this beautiful town!

È una fortezza circolare, che domina dall'alto la cittadina di Sciaffusa. Risale a 16' secolo. Due strade coperte fortificate( una per lato) che salgono dalla città bassa alla fortezza, la rendono ancora più scenografica. Alle 21 di ogni giorno per gli ultimi 500 anno , la guardia che risiede nel castello, fa suonare la sua campanella ed annuncia che \ tutto va bene\.
Lugar de interés histórico recomendable. Desde las alturas una panorámica espectacular sobre toda Escafusa.
