As Madrid locals, we felt that it was better to avoid this place and try the more Swiss ones. We were also afraid of finding a bad folkloric bar on the Plaza Mayor style ... Finally some locals pointed us Al Andalus as one of the best price/quality balanced restaurants there. Well, it's not fair, we found it's simply (one of?) the best. Their Spanish \tapas\ are delicious so let's call them High Popular Cuisine from now on. Having said that, we'll miss a lot the taste of their classic but improved dishes.

Probably the best Tapas Restaurant/Bar in town. In the center of the City. Non smoking place, except out on the terrace. The waitress are nice, friendly & funny. The Tapas (small snacks) are lovely & delicious. Get a «Tinto verano» !
