Great restaurant, hidden in the small picturesque village of Saint Saphorin. We stayed at the fine dining area on the second floor. Food - a set chef's menu - and service were outstanding. Downstairs the atmosphere is more casual (and presumably cheaper).

Food was not bad. But the service was Terrible! The staff's attitude was extremely ignorant and cold as if we as guests owed them something. The overall experience was really not pleasant to dine there. I will not go there again.

You can't find the menu on Internet. Maybe because it changes quite often (I don't know, I've been there once and won't come again). My feeling is that it's because you would otherwise realize that what is served is not so original and outrageously expensive for what it is... The selection of wines is rather interesting, but certainly conventional and overly \showy\. That said, the place is calm and warm. Do not expect to find the remnant of a typical wineyard atmosphere; it is simply artificial and pretending. You can find much more authentic and equally tasty experience in the neighborhood... I do not recommend this Auberge de l'Onde.

Have been coming here occasionally for literally years. Once again, a great menu du jour and attentive, friendly service. Small but excellent Swiss wine list. Call ahead if you want the roasted chicken or the filets de perche - they were out of both by the time we arrived, admittedly a bit on the late side. But we were not disappointed, so this remains on our list of reliable, charming restaurants in the Vevey area.

Nice location, well situated in breath taking Saint Saphorin village on the lac Leman. Menu was well prepared, food was of good quality. The big surprise was the sommelier, though well known, was really delivering on high expectations, very subtle wine tasting, nicely matching the various food taste
